OUR VALUES
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of the Church is to bring people to Jesus Christ that they will be saved by the 'New Birth' of water and of the Spirit according to John 3:5 and Acts 2:38.
The 'New Birth' gives each individual entrance into the family of God where they can develop, mature and learn to use their God-given gifts and abilities to help the Church grow and bring glory to Jesus.
John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
To establish and maintain a place where people of like faith can meet together to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism.
Ephesians 4:11-15 - And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: 14] That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15] But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Acts 20:7 - And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to preach the Gospel so that all might hear about Jesus Christ's love for them and the salvation He purchased for them that they might be saved.
Luke 19:10 - For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
OUR VISION
We desire to build a strong basis from which we can reach out to our village and the surrounding area to bring the Gospel to each person. We also want to be involved in reaching the whole world through our involvement in giving to missions. We believe that everyone should have an opportunity to hear the Gospel that they might be saved.
Yet we do not want to neglect the needs of each group of people in the local Church and therefore we want to maintain Spiritual health and growth of each one through the teaching of the Word of God. Thereby training and equipping each one to be involved in some area of ministry which will help to attain the vision of the Church.
Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
